About Me

I am an M.S. student in the Department of Computer Science at Hanyang University, advised by Prof. Jong-Il Park. I am a member of the Mixed Reality Laboratory (MRLAB) .

My research interests include virtual and mixed reality, intelligent spectator camera systems, human-computer interaction, computer vision, and immersive media.

Selected Projects

VR Fire Safety Training and Spectator System

Undergraduate Capstone Project · Hanyang University ERICA · 2024

A VR-based fire safety training system that provides fire evacuation and fire-extinguisher training inside a virtual reconstruction of a university building. The system also includes a synchronized PC spectator application for monitoring the VR trainee.

Contribution: Independently implemented all technical components of the project in Unity, including the virtual environment, VR interaction systems, fire and smoke scenarios, evacuation guidance, extinguisher training, network synchronization, and the PC spectator application.

Key Features: Fire and smoke simulation, evacuation route guidance, haptic and visual hazard feedback, interactive fire-extinguisher training, Photon-based synchronization, and top-view/CCTV spectator modes.

Technologies: Unity, C#, VR, Photon Networking, Final IK, 3D Modeling

Orion Vision

XR Research Project · 2025–2026

A HoloLens 2-based XR experience that presents staged warning interfaces for emergency situations in a lunar exploration scenario. The system communicates different levels of risk through spatial UI, color-coded warnings, animations, and auditory feedback.

Contribution: Translated the provided XR interface designs into a functional Unity application, implemented the interactive scenario flow and warning-stage transitions, and deployed the system to HoloLens 2.

Technologies: Unity, C#, HoloLens 2, Mixed Reality

Magic Orchard

Ongoing MR Project · Samsung Life Insurance Lifnology Lab · 2026

A home-based mixed-reality fruit-harvesting experience designed to encourage physical activity among older adults through playful interaction in their everyday environment.

Contribution: Developing the mixed-reality application, including passthrough-based environment integration, hand-tracking interactions, fruit harvesting, and basket-based object placement.

Technologies: Unity, C#, Meta Quest 3, Passthrough MR, Hand Tracking

Status: Ongoing

Jump Map in Matryoshka House

Metaverse Developer Competition · 2021

A metaverse platform game set inside a giant house, where players progress through obstacle-based jump-map stages. The experience also supports indirect spectator participation through viewing rooms and interactive trap controls.

Award: Excellence Award, 2021 Metaverse Developer Competition

Team: E-Room
